aaaand it’s time to update my user-info at long last – if only because i’m no longer an english student. now… now, i’m an english graduate. an unemployed english graduate, too. that song in avenue Q isn’t just a great joke set to a natty tune – that’s my life. my unemployment means i spend a lot of time on livejournal… posting about doctor who how i’m unemployed. but, to be fair, no more than i used to post about G&S and harry potter when i was a student, because i used to spend just as much time sitting around in my pajamas then as I do now...
anyways, here’s some things you might like to know about me:
i am a writer by profession degree (BA in english and creative writing, so no life skills then), who doesn't write much except on livejournal and then only like some demented travel writer who always stays in the same place. i’m supposedly a playwright, but i don’t do that often enough. i tell myself i will when i get a job though (and maybe i will. watch this space). right now, if I write fiction (as opposed to - about my life), it’s fanfiction. at the moment, my heart belongs to john simm's master (and the tenth doctor) and i’m currently writing a heap of ten/master stuff, all of which is archived over at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) poisonedcake. i used to write remus/sirius until jk rowling made it quite, quite clear how wrong we all were. secretly, i still ship them, but now I feel like a crazed harry/hermione shipper and it makes me sad, so i leave the marauders alone. lots of old fic in my tags though.
i believe that if god had wanted us to learn how to spell he would never have invented microsoft word’s admirable spellchecking facility. my fanfic is all spellchecked. sadly, you can’t say the same about my LJ entries.
i am embarassing to know. i sing in public and open automatic doors with the force.
i'd like to be a pirate when i grow up, but, to be honest, i think i'd feel bad taking things from people.
i refuse to accept that jack harkness is the face of boe. because, well, it's just rubbish, isn't it?
i am not, despite what you may hear, a super hero cake.
and, of course, i procrastinate :) a lot. mainly here, sorry about that. if you want to friend me please do, i will probably friend you back, but don't say i didn't warn you about the obsessive posting about nothing.
